Leonard Slade papers, 1953-1999.

Leonard A. Slade, Jr. is a distinguished professor of English and a poet who has held positions at Kentucky State University (1965-1988) and the State University of New York at Albany (1988- ). A graduate of the University of Illinois, professor Slade has published several volumes of poems and won numerous awards for writing and teaching. In addition to his books, the collection contains manuscripts, correspondence, documents, photographs, braodsides, and clippings.
